Laboratory and Field Validation Data for Discretized Thermodynamic Imaging Measurements of Precipitation and Winds

This dataset contains experimental and field data associated with the manuscript “Discretized Thermal Imaging for the Measurement of Precipitation and Winds.” The data support the characterization and validation of Discretized Thermal Imaging (DTI) methods, including DTI-pm (Pulse Width Modulation) and DTI-de (Differential Emissivity). The deposited data include mass-validation measurements, wind-speed and heat-transfer characterization, snow accumulation and snow-rate measurements, and snow water equivalent (SWE) accumulation and SWE-rate measurements with corresponding reference-instrument observations. Data are provided in CSV and MATLAB (MAT) formats to facilitate accessibility, analysis, and reproducibility.
