Measuring Information Service Outcomes: University of Utah Libraries, 2026

The 2026 MISO (Measuring Information Service Outcomes) Survey was administered at the University of Utah to assess user experiences with library services across undergraduate students, graduate students, faculty, and clinical staff. The survey collected data on service use, perceived importance, satisfaction, awareness, and the contribution of library resources and services to academic, teaching, and research goals. In addition to quantitative measures, the survey included open-ended questions that provided qualitative feedback on user experiences and suggestions for service improvement. These data support library assessment, strategic planning, service evaluation, and benchmarking against peer institutions participating in the MISO survey.
