Description
This repository contains a set of FEBio models and associated results which were used in the following 2026 Journal of Biomechanics validation study by Hudson et al.: https://doi.org/10.1016/j.jbiomech.2026.113384. In the study, we evaluated articular hip cartilage and labrum strains estimated via a simplified modeling approach (soft tissue overlap modeling) , to finite element model predicted strains. Both in radiographically normal hips and hips with cam femoroacetabular impingement syndrome.
